So, some not all of you know that I am a hopeless romantic at heart.  I truly believe people are like puzzle pieces and there is a shape that fits you in that moment where things connect in another sphere which brings fireworks, love, and true joy.  People change, life changes, and the puzzles pieces change accordingly.

That said, I read Craigslist frequently to see how the state of humanity is doing because between all the words thrown, presented, carefully scripted are poems about human life and hearts.  For some reason today this one gripped me. I just felt so sad that this person a year later is saying good night and having doubts.  I'm so sorry for that person's loss and so awed at the ability of the human spirit to heal as he turned up the radio and drove away.  I hope he finds his puzzle piece.  I hope we all do at all points in our lives.

I was driving down Franklin yesterday afternoon, and saw someone who looked like you walking down the sidewalk - then I realized, it was you.

After over a year, I finally saw you again. Part of me wanted to turn around the block, pull up to you, and say hello, you look great, I still say goodnight to you in my heart every night, why did you throw us away, what are you doing now, do you still love me at all?

Instead, I took a deep breathe, turned the radio up, and kept on driving away . . .
